Terms of Sale and Use

These terms are a contract between you and Gabriella Cardoso da Silva, a sole trader resident in Portugal, tax number (NIF) 313852138, of Rua do Moinho, 252, 8005-424 Faro, Portugal, trading as Dermatooh ("we", "us"). They apply whenever you use this website or buy a course from it. Please read them before you pay. If you do not accept them, do not buy.
These terms take effect on 29 September 2026 and replace any earlier version.

1. What you are buying
Each course is digital content: 8 complete written lessons with routines, trackers and checklists in tables, a list of warning signs that mean see a doctor, and an assignment per lesson. It is delivered by email and read through a personal online library, where each lesson can also be printed or saved as PDF. Nothing is shipped to you. There is no consultation, no live session, no video, no app and no personal feedback on your skin, hair or health.

The contents of each course are described on its page on this website, including the title of every lesson, and summarised again before you pay. That description, as published on the day you buy, forms part of this contract. The Complete Library contains all 8 courses. The courses are written in English.
2. Who may buy
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. You must use an email address you control, because that is where your course is delivered.
3. Price, taxes and payment
All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and are single, one-time payments. There is no subscription, no automatic renewal, and we do not store your card.
Payment is processed by Stripe and appears on your statement as DERMATOOH. The price shown at checkout is the total we charge and includes any value added tax we are required to collect. Your bank may add a currency conversion or international transaction fee; that fee is charged by your bank, not by us. An invoice is issued under Portuguese tax law. If you need your own tax number on it, write to us within 30 days of the purchase.
Before you pay, you see the course, its price and its main contents, and you can go back and change your choice. Confirming the payment is your acceptance of our offer. We confirm the contract by email.
4. Delivery
Access is given immediately after a successful payment, on the confirmation page and by email, normally within a few minutes. The full process, and what to do if something goes wrong, is described in delivery and access, which forms part of these terms.
5. Your right of withdrawal and our guarantee
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, for any reason. How this relates to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases is explained in the refund and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Your licence to use the courses
When you buy, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read, print and save the course for your own use and your family's. You do not become the owner of the material. You may not share your access link, resell, publish or upload the material, use it with paying clients or patients as your own programme, or use it to train an artificial intelligence system. Details are in the copyright and licence notice.
7. Health: what the courses are and are not
The courses are general health education. They are not medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment plan, a prescription or a consultation, and they do not replace a doctor, a dermatologist, a pharmacist or another qualified health professional. Nobody at Dermatooh examines you or reviews your skin, photos or symptoms. You agree to read the warning signs listed in every course and to see a doctor when they apply, to follow product labels and pharmacist advice, to patch test new products, and never to use prescription medicines without a prescription. Please read the medical disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
We do not promise any particular result, such as clear skin, fewer flares or regrowth of hair. Skin and hair conditions vary greatly from person to person and depend on factors outside our control.
8. Updates and availability
We may improve, correct or expand a course, for example when medical guidance changes. Updates to a course you bought are included at no extra cost. We will not remove a substantial part of what you paid for. We aim to keep the library available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, because hosting and email are provided by third parties. If we ever decide to close Dermatooh, we will email every buyer at least 90 days in advance so you can print or save all your lessons.
9. Conformity of the digital content
The course must match its description, be complete and remain accessible as described. If it does not, you have the rights given by Portuguese Decree-Law 84/2021 on digital content: we will bring it into conformity, and if we cannot do so within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a price reduction or a full refund.
10. Suspension of access
We may suspend or end your access, without a refund, if you publish or share your access link, redistribute the material, or use it in breach of the licence. Where the problem is minor and can be fixed, we will ask you to fix it first.
11. Our liability
We prepare the courses with reasonable care and base them on published patient information from recognised dermatology and health bodies. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or the mandatory rights of consumers under Portuguese Law 24/96 and the law of the country where you live.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. You are responsible for the products you choose to use, for following their labels, and for seeking medical care when the courses tell you to.
12. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as the failure of a hosting, payment or email provider. If such an event prevents delivery for more than 30 days, you may cancel and receive a full refund.
13. Personal data
We handle your personal data as described in the privacy policy.
14. Contact, complaints and disputes
We contact you at the email address you gave at checkout. You can reach us at support@dermatooh.com or on +351 918 999 470. We reply within two working days.
Electronic complaints book. Under Portuguese law you can file a complaint in the official electronic complaints book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico) at livroreclamacoes.pt. The complaint is sent to us and to the competent authority.
Alternative dispute resolution. If a consumer dispute cannot be solved with us directly, you may use a consumer dispute resolution centre. For our area this is CIMAAL, the Consumer Information, Mediation and Arbitration Centre of the Algarve (consumidoronline.pt), and nationwide the CNIACC, the National Centre for Consumer Information and Arbitration (cniacc.pt). The full list of approved centres is published on the Portuguese Consumer Portal (consumidor.gov.pt). Consumers in other EU countries may also contact the European Consumer Centre of their country.
15. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for future purchases. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on the day you paid.
16. Transfer
You may not transfer this contract to anyone else. We may transfer it to a business that takes over Dermatooh, provided your rights are not reduced, and we will tell you if that happens.
17. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where the law allows it. Otherwise, the courts of Faro, Portugal, have jurisdiction.
18. Entire agreement
These terms, together with the refund policy, the delivery policy, the privacy policy, the cookie policy, the copyright and licence notice and the medical disclaimer, are the whole agreement between you and us about your purchase. If any part is found invalid, the rest remains in force.
